The Vessel-The Power of our Rords

We believe God’s Word, and we speak to the mountain, just as God’s Word instructs us. Yet still we seem to fall short of receiving God’s best. Why is this? The answer may lie in the next part of Mark 11. Do we actually believe that what we say will come to pass? Do we recognize that our words have power, when spoken by the authority in the Name of Jesus, to bring about the change we desire? So often we don’t, and for many, this is the missing piece of the faith connection. We must grasp the fact that the words that we speak have the power to change circumstances, to bring about healing, to bring blessings upon ourselves and our families, and more. Of course, we must also recognize that our words have the power to bring about sickness, disaster, and death, because God isn’t the only one listening. There is a devil on the loose, operating as a thief, and God has given us authority over him, but it is up to us to exercise that authority.
